This full-day Bay of Kotor boat tour combines the breathtaking natural beauty and rich history of the region, offering a perfect mix of cruising, swimming, snorkeling, and exploring the most famous landmarks of the bay – including Herceg Novi, Our Lady of the Rocks, Perast, and the Blue Cave.
Early in the morning we meet at the agreed location in Kotor. After boarding the boat, our first stop will be the island of Our Lady of the Rocks. Here you will have time to explore the island, take a walk, capture beautiful photos, and enjoy spectacular views of the bay surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes.
After the visit, we continue our journey toward the Blue Cave, one of the most impressive natural caves in the Bay of Kotor and a true paradise for sea lovers. Along the way, we will stop near Mamula Island, famous for its Austro-Hungarian fortress and well-preserved stone walls. You will also have the chance to see the former submarine base built during the Yugoslav era.
We then arrive at the location where you can swim or snorkel in the Blue Cave. The cave can only be reached by boat and has no access from land, making the experience even more exclusive. The magical blue glow inside the cave creates a nearly perfect optical illusion, as sunlight enters at the ideal angle and reflects through the water, giving it an intense, luminous blue color.
Our next destination is one of the most beautiful towns on the Adriatic coast – Herceg Novi. Known as the City of Sun, Stairs, Fortresses, and Monuments, Herceg Novi lies between Mount Orjen and the entrance to the Bay of Kotor.
We recommend starting your visit from the city square and the famous Clock Tower, built in 1667, which serves as the main entrance to the Old Town. From there, walk down to the seaside promenade Pet Danica, where you can enjoy a relaxing walk along the coast or have coffee in one of the local cafés. Along the promenade you will also find the city harbor Škver, as well as the medieval fortresses Forte Mare and Kanli Kula, three important symbols of the rich history of Herceg Novi.
On our way back to Kotor, we will stop in the charming town of Perast, where we will take a short walk through the historic streets, pass by its most important landmarks, and discover one of the most picturesque places in the Bay of Kotor.
