We depart from Kotor and take you to Budva – a town famous for some of the most beautiful beaches on the Montenegrin coast and a perfect example of how history, tradition, and modern urban life coexist in harmony. The Budva – Sveti Stefan tour is ideal for those who want to experience the contrast between the old Mediterranean charm and contemporary Montenegrin tourism.
According to legend, Budva was founded by Cadmus, the king of Thebes. A stroll through Budva Old Town takes you along narrow cobbled streets that reflect the town’s rich history. A visit to the St. Mary’s Fortress is a must, offering stunning panoramic views of the town. Along the waterfront, numerous cafés allow you to sample local specialties while enjoying the sea view and Sveti Nikola Island, famously known as Montenegro’s “Hawaii.”
After exploring Budva in detail, we continue to the Sveti Stefan Peninsula, widely considered the crown jewel of the Montenegrin coast. Located just 10 kilometers from Budva, this iconic island offers a variety of historical attractions. You can visit Villa Miločer, once a summer residence of the Karađorđević dynasty, as well as the Praskvica Monastery and Reževići Monastery. The distinctive stone walls of Sveti Stefan, surrounded by the deep blue Adriatic Sea, leave a lasting impression and make it a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Montenegro’s coast.
